Fire doors for the first and second floor apartments were delivered last week. Instead of hollow metal we opted for kalamein doors with recessed panels, which we think are a little more suited to the style of the house.
Installation of radiators on the first and second floors is largely complete. Some of these were already in the house, others we got from a job site in Sunnyside Queens where they were being discarded.
All have been converted from steam to hydronic, and are being installed with fittings such that, after testing the system, we can move the radiators in order to complete the flooring and painting.

The new radiant slab is finally poured. Framing in the basement will start after the slab has been sealed.
